Spiced Cacao

Raw cacao powder has an abundance of nutrients including vitamin C, magnesium, zinc and iron. A WOW factor I love is that 1 tsp. of raw cacao powder provides just under your recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C, so I am all for a cup of warm chocolate, especially this spiced version too with the spice combination and warming properties of both ginger and cayenne.

The Creation

  1. Add the powders and sugar into a large cup.
  2. Pour some of the dairy free milk in, give it a good mix (may appear a bit lumpy but the warm water will help with combining).
  3. Fill the cup half way with the warm water, give a good mix with your spoon or electric whisk.
  4. Add the remaining milk or extra water gently whisk to avoid spillage.Enjoy!
