Ginger Hot Shot
Want something to wake up your digestion? If you get indigestion or feel that your digestion is quite sluggish especially after eating large meals or high sugar consumption, then 30 minutes (or 15 minutes) before eating pour yourself a ginger hot shot to spark your digestive fire.
- Remove the skin and add to a high speed blender, blend until smooth. May want to pour through a sieve to remove any excess fibre so left with a smooth ginger juice consistency.
- Alternatively if you have a juicer add double the amount of ginger roots to get a pure ginger juice.
- Store in a glass airtight jar in the fridge.
- Pour a shot and down in one for the ginger hot shot to work its magic.
