Limited availability, only a few selected dates to learn about Winter's seasonal produce! Using locally grown produce that can be harvested, cooked and eaten at it's very best; with the concept of seasonal inspiration to become a better cook!
Although winter is usually considered a period of 'sparse' produce availability, this doesn't have to be the case; like the weather, lets turn grey and blur the boundaries! Foods considered at their best in December, such as brussel sprouts and chestnuts can bring great flavours to the months either side of the festive season. Chestnuts are certainly not just for Christmas - have you tried pairing their flavour with parsnip? Delightful!
With winter produce, it is less about variety but more about different textures and flavour combinations; don’t just stick to boiled vegetables there's lots of ways to create a wealth of goodness that is both delicious and nutritious!
Create a starter, main & dessert staring Winter's wealthiest produce.
